  New resident to Drouin and invited all the family from Melbourne , down for Father's Day lunch. When I booked they didn't know it was Father's Day! They said they would put on something special for lunch. There was about 12 of us and we had placed our orders by 1 pm. There were 2 other tables of people who arrived after us. At 2.30 we asked how much longer it would be before the food arrived as we had to head back to Melbourne. We were told they had had a big night the night before and had run out of a few things.We were offered free cake and coffee to finish. Slowly the plates came out. My 86 year-old father was the last to be served. My 15 year-old nephew who ordered the same thing didn't get his meal. By 3 pm. we decided to go (nephew got hot chips down the street.) We didn't take up the offer of cake and coffee as we had waited so long already - and we had to get back to Melbourne that day! food was nice enough when it came but it was not worth the wait. Disappointing.
